Neurodivergent: ...yeah, probablyI write on political crap on Twitter (and to an extent on Reddit) for the most part. A fair amount of the political crap involves the intersection of coercive religious groups (particularly New Apostolic Reformation and/or QAnon stuff) and domestic and international politics, but there's a fair amount of (non cults-in-politics) social justice stuff too.I also am an actual network engineer, and occasionally herd cats and wrangle wayward Internets.I also occasionally squee over certain fandoms of interest at the moment.

  • Most of my actual professional writing is on Daily Kos

  • I also have quite a bit at Talk to Action including stuff not on my DK

  • I also write a fair amount on Reddit, particularly on /r/QAnonCasualties and some other related groups like /r/Qult_Headquarters, on the phenomena of online coercive groups

  • If there's something of "network engineer" interest you'll sometimes see me going into Technical Stuff (like if Twitter or some other major site breaks or Security Stuff)

  • I also do some experimental fanfic on AO3--pray for my soul

Yay Fandom

  • I like most music not in the "adult contemporary", "new country", or "Christian contemporary" categories but I do tend to be a sucker for modern thrash and operatic/theatrical metal

  • Anime fandom includes lots of old classics (Escaflowne/Bubblegum Crisis/etc.), Cells at Work!, Moyasimon, Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales/Mononoke, most Ghibli stuff, most Gundam (at least through 00 and Unicorn), Trapeze/"Welcome To Dr. Irabu's Office :)", GITS/GITS:SAC/GITS:2nd GIG, at least passsive interest in some others, and there's a certain TWEWY anime coming out in 2021 that has my Interest...

  • Gaming fandom includes Breath of Fire (which will always be my first RPG love despite being a zombie franchise), TWEWY/NEO:TWEWY (NOT a zombie franchise, the 13 year drought is over :D), Pokemon, FF, Xenogears/Xenosaga/Xenoblade, somehow I've been sucked into ACNH lol, and do have a soft spot for the Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and Soul Series for fighting game franchises.   • In general, the normal DNI/DNF criteria of Sane People apply (no racists/bigots/anti-LGBTQ2IA, etc.); also, if you actively promote QAnon or Pizzagate conspo stuff or the like you are Not Welcome Here

  • Otherwise I'm pretty FUB (follow/unfollow/block) free, although I'll warn if you aren't "social justice friendly" you probably will not have the best time on my main Twitter (or probably even the fandom one lol)

  • If you are under 18, I won't follow back (or really interact too much) without permission

  • I do try to keep things work-safe (or at least PG-13 rated; I can and will say "fuck", though, occasionally profusely)
